The Repti Tuff is a heavy duty halogen made to handle splashes, and it lasts a long time. It is mainly a heat source and gives UVA but not UVB.

Who it suits
Aquatic turtles and other aquatic terrarium pets that need a warm basking spot, and reptiles in moist terrariums. Pair it with a UVB lamp, such as the ReptiSun UVB/LED Gen 2, which Zoo Med suggests alongside it.
Setting it up
Fit it in a reptile hood or clamp lamp with a ceramic socket. Never use a plastic fixture.
Aim it at the basking spot.
Control the heat with a thermostat or rheostat, and check the basking temperature.
Splash-proof is not waterproof
It can take a little splashing, but keep it and its fixture out of the water.

Is it the same as the Turtle Tuff?
Yes. Zoo Med renamed the Turtle Tuff as the Repti Tuff.
Does it give UVB?
No. It gives heat and UVA. Add a UVB lamp for your turtle or reptile.
