Custom builds
Most of what leaves the shop is made to order. Send the size and what has to go inside, and we will send back a real quote.
Request a quoteFrom a single display enclosure to a full room of PVC caging, we design and build custom enclosures around both the animal and the keeper. Since 2000 we have built for homes, stores, and institutions across North America, including projects featured on Animal Planet's Scaled.
Drawn in CAD, cut on the CNC
With over 20 years of building reptile caging and our own 2D and 3D CAD design, we can render, refine, and program every detail of your build before it reaches the CNC. That means a better fit, cleaner finishes, and smarter layouts for your animals and your room.
PVC is one of the best materials there is for reptile housing: light, strong, easy to clean, and it holds heat and humidity far better than glass. We build in glass, wood, and combinations of them too, when the project calls for it.
A few past builds
What we build
Feature wall terrariums
Built-in displays that anchor a living room, office, or lobby, often with matching cabinetry, storage, or media units.
Naturalistic and bioactive
Planted, soil-based designs with drainage, hardscape, and lighting planned for both the plants and the animals.
Large species and exhibits
Monitors, big snakes, and display-scale builds with a reinforced structure, service access, and serious lighting and heat.
Racks and walls of cages
Matching banks, stacks, and full walls of cages, designed so a reptile room can grow over time.
Stores, schools, and zoos
Pet stores, vet clinics, schools, museums, and zoos, where reliability, safety, and looks all matter.
One of a kind
Phone booths, jukeboxes, basement bars, and whatever else you can dream up, built to work as a habitat first.
Dial in every detail
Size and layout
Built to your exact dimensions, from compact arboreal cubes to oversized monitor and boa enclosures, as single units, stacks, or whole walls.
Doors
Sliding glass, front-opening hinged doors, or a mix, with hardware matched to your animals and how you handle them, and locks where needed.
Venting and airflow
CNC-cut vents, slotted vents, screen panels, or a pattern of your own, with adjustable venting for different species and rooms.
Finishes and branding
Inlaid PVC details, vinyl-wrapped exteriors, engraved or V-carved logos, and graphics to match your collection or facility.
Shelves, cutouts, and windows
Basking shelves, climbing ledges, service cutouts, and inlaid glass or acrylic windows.
Glass litter dams
A dam of the height you need keeps substrate in and the front glass clean. Ideal for loose substrate, bioactive, and humid builds.
Stands and canopies
Matching stands, storage bases, and canopies that hide the equipment and keep it within reach.
Angled and heat-bent parts
Angled fronts, chamfered corners, and heat-bent panels for tight spaces, alcoves, and built-in cabinetry.
Risers and pedestals
Raise a cage off the floor or bring it to eye level for showpieces, store displays, and feature animals.
Modular and expandable
Matching footprints and add-on sections, so you can start with one cage and grow into a reptile room.
Lighting and heating
Designed around radiant heat panels, halogen basking, deep heat projectors, UVB, and LED, with the wiring planned in.
Misting and decor
Misting ports, cable management, and room for backgrounds and hardscape, planned before the build starts.
Built for heat, humidity, and daily use
- Heating and lighting. Fixtures, wire channels, and clearances are planned into the drawing, so installation is clean and safe.
- Ventilation. Fixed or adjustable venting, tuned to the species and the season.
- Humidity. PVC holds humidity far better than glass, which suits boas, monitors, geckos, and anything else that likes it damp.
- Bioactive ready. Drainage, misting ports, and room for backgrounds and hardscape from day one.
