A big enclosure or a planted bioactive build often needs more than one LED Bar to light it evenly. This cable lets you add the next bar without another cord to the wall. It only carries power between the lights; it does not make light itself, and it does not copy settings from one bar to the other.

What it connects

At a glance

Connects
Two LumenIZE Jungle Dawn LED Bars
Length
1.2 m (48 in)
Water rating
IP65
Linked lights
Up to 10, within the limits printed on your lights

It fits every LumenIZE Jungle Dawn LED Bar: 290, 470, 570, 870, and 1240 mm. It does not fit older, non-LumenIZE Jungle Dawn bars, which use a different connection even though they look alike, and it does not plug into a LumenIZE ProT5.

Connecting it

  1. Unplug the lighting from the wall. Never connect or remove link cables with the power on.

  2. Fit the two LED Bars where they will go, and check the 1.2 m cable reaches between them without pulling tight.

  3. Connect the cable to the linking port on each bar, and push both plugs fully home as Arcadia's instructions show.

  4. Check the linking limit printed on your lights before you add any more.

  5. Plug the system back in and check that both lights come on.

  6. Set each light's schedule in the LumenIZE app.

Water resistant, not waterproof
IP65 protects against dust and water jets when the plugs are fitted properly. Never put the cable or its connectors under water, and keep misting nozzles from spraying straight at them.

Questions

Do linked bars have to run the same schedule?

No. Each LumenIZE light stores its own settings, so one bar can brighten earlier or dim on a different curve from the other.

How many lights can I link?

Up to 10 in a suitable setup, but the real limit depends on the lights and how much power they draw. Follow the limit printed on your lights.

Can I link a LumenIZE ProT5 to an LED Bar?

Yes, with the T5 to LED cable instead of this one.

Does it come with a power supply?

No. The box holds one LED to LED link cable. The power comes from your LumenIZE light and its own supply.
