This is the longest of the LumenIZE ProT5 kits. The reflector sends the UV-rich light downward across the habitat, and the app replaces a plain on and off timer with a schedule you shape yourself.

Who it suits
Larger enclosures that need wide UVB coverage. Choose the lamp by species, target UV index, basking distance, enclosure height, and any mesh between lamp and reptile, not by the percentage alone.

How the app control works
Adjustable output, rather than full power whenever the light is on.

The schedule is stored in the fixture, so your phone does not need to stay connected or nearby; reconnect within Bluetooth range when you want to change it. A backup battery inside keeps the clock and the program through a power cut, but it does not keep the lamp lit. Download the app from the QR code on the box.
Dimming does not replace lamp choice
The app controls the light's output. It does not change which lamp is right for your animal, where the fixture goes, or how far the animal basks from it.
Setting it up
Choose the 6%, 12%, or 14% lamp for the species and finished enclosure.
Place the fixture so the main basking area gets the UV you want, and leave shaded, lower-UV areas so your reptile can move about and regulate its exposure.
Above a screen top, allow for the mesh, which reduces UV. An over-screen fixture may need a different position from one mounted inside.
Build the daily cycle in the LumenIZE app: up gradually in the morning, stronger through the day, down again toward evening.
Check the UV index at the basking spot with a UV meter where you can. It tells you far more than the lamp or dimming percentage.
Mounted inside a PVC enclosure, the fixture sends its output into the habitat without a screen top in the way. The 48 in fixture fits only our 6 ft and 8 ft full-length PVC cages; if you buy it with one of those, ask us to install it. For any other enclosure, measure the usable width inside first, since a cage sold as 4 ft may have less, and the connectors and cable need room too.
Guard it if your animal can reach it
If the fixture is inside the enclosure and your animal can climb to it, fit a LampGuardPro (RALGP5) over it. Arcadia makes LampGuardPro to suit LumenIZE fixtures.

Questions
Is the UVB lamp included?
Yes, a 46 in T5 HO lamp in the 6%, 12%, or 14% you choose.
Does my phone need to stay connected?
No. Once programmed, the fixture runs its stored schedule on its own. Reconnect over Bluetooth when you want to change it.
Can I switch from 6% to 12% in the app?
No. The percentages are different lamps, chosen when you order. The app dims the lamp you have; it does not change the lamp or measure the UV index at your animal.
Is it the same as a standard ProT5 fixture?
No. Both use T5 HO UVB lamps, but LumenIZE adds app control, so you can program the output and gradual transitions. The standard version is the Arcadia ProT5 UVB kit, 48 in.
Does mesh affect the UVB?
Yes. Screen or mesh reduces the UV that reaches your reptile, so allow for it when you set the fixture position and basking distance.
