A deep aluminum dome with a heat-resistant ceramic lamp holder, for basking lamps, deep heat projectors, and ceramic heaters. It clamps to a stand or screws to the vivarium, and comes with a safety grill.

The deep dome aims heat and light at the basking spot, and the ceramic holder handles the temperatures of high-output heat lamps. This is the plain aluminum version of Arcadia's clamp lamp.

Setting it up
Clamp it to a stable surface. The spring clamp has grip pads and a bolt fixing for extra hold.
Mount it with the screw-fixed vivarium bracket so it stays put without the clamp.
Before switching on, check the fixture is secure, the lamp is within the wattage, and your animal cannot touch the hot lamp. Fit the mesh grill wherever an animal could reach it.
Our advice
Arcadia recommends running heat lamps on a suitable thermostat. A dimming thermostat usually suits a dimmable basking lamp.

Does it come with a hanging bracket?
No. The hanging bracket comes only with the Graphite Clamp Lamp. This one has the clamp and the vivarium bracket.
Can I use a ceramic heat emitter?
Yes, within the wattage of the size you choose, ideally on a thermostat.
Can I use an Arcadia Deep Heat Projector?
Yes. Arcadia lists it among the lamps for this fixture.
