It is the same six-shelf, interchangeable tub layout as the standard VE-6. The open sides use less material, and let more room air through the rack.

Who it suits

Established reptile rooms with a stable ambient temperature. In a cool room or one with swings and drafts, the open sides lose heat faster, and the solid-sided VE-6 is the better choice.

Use one size throughout, or mix them: smaller tubs on the upper shelves and larger below, for example. A full rack of VE108-8 tubs holds eighteen.

Thermostat required
Never run heat tape without a proportional thermostat. Check the temperature inside the tubs with a separate thermometer before you add animals, and again whenever you change the setup.

The rack is designed for belly heat routing. Ask us to confirm the heating before you order.

Can I stack it?

It uses the VE stacking system. Check with us that the racks match and the stack is safe before combining them.
