A two-shelf Vivarium Electronics rack for small collections, or to add two shelves to a VE-6. Each shelf takes one, two, or three VE 108 tubs, so it holds two to six animals.

The VE 108 tubs share one depth and height, so any size fits any shelf, and the two shelves can hold different sizes.

Who it suits

Both shelves have belly heat and a Direct Airflow probe slot, a set place for the thermostat probe. Check temperatures again whenever you change tub sizes.

Thermostat required
Never run heat tape without a proportional thermostat. Check the temperature inside the tubs with a separate thermometer before you add animals, and again whenever you change the setup.

Choosing your options

  • Assembled or flat packed, set with the option above.

  • Colour, from the options available.

  • Casters and shelf pins, to move the rack for cleaning and to keep tubs from sliding out.

  • Stacking: a VE-2 on a VE-6 makes eight shelves; two VE-6 racks and a VE-2 make fourteen. Follow the stacking limits and keep it stable.

Are tubs included?

No. VE 108 tubs are sold separately.

Can I mix tub sizes?

Yes. Each shelf can take a different size.

Do I need a thermostat?

Yes. The belly heat must run through a suitable proportional thermostat, sold separately.

Parcels across Canada and the US are priced at checkout from the packed boxes. Pallets and freight we price by hand, usually within one business day, and you pay nothing until you have seen the total. Pickup in Calgary is free.

Returns

14 day returns on eligible unused stock items, return shipping paid by the customer. Built-to-order goods are covered by the construction warranty rather than by returns. Restocking Fees Apply for returns
