Spare main fuses for the Herpstat 6. The main fuse protects the whole unit's power circuit, and if it blows the thermostat goes dark, so a correct spare on the shelf saves a long wait. Three 15 amp, fast-acting, 6.3 x 32 mm fuses, not for the 3.15 amp output holders.

The main fuse sits on the Herpstat 6's main power circuit. If too much current flows, it breaks the circuit and the thermostat stops getting power until the problem is fixed and the fuse replaced. Running six outputs from one unit makes it worth keeping spares.

Which fuse it replaces
The Herpstat 6 has a main fuse for the whole unit and a smaller fuse for each output. These are the main fuses: larger, and rated far higher. Never put one in an output holder.

Replacing a fuse
Unplug the Herpstat 6 and disconnect every heater, probe, and cable.
Open the housing following the Spyder Robotics manual for your model; the main fuse is inside.
Check the new fuse is 15 A, fast-acting, 6.3 x 32 mm, then fit it in the main fuse holder.
Check the connected heaters for damaged cords, shorts, or a total load over the unit's limit.
Reassemble, plug it back in, and confirm the thermostat and its outputs work before you rely on it.

Questions
Main fuse or output fuse: which has blown?
If the whole unit is dead, suspect the main fuse. If the unit works but one outlet gives no power, it is more likely that output's 3.15 A fuse.
Why would the main fuse blow?
An overload, a short circuit, or a power surge. Find and fix the cause before fitting a new one.
Can I use a slow-blow fuse?
No. Use a 15 A fast-acting 6.3 x 32 mm fuse.
