Which fuse it replaces
The EZ1 and EZ2 use the same size of fuse at different ratings, so they are not interchangeable. Never fit one of these 6.3 A fuses in an EZ1. The Herpstat 1 also specifies a 6.3 A 5 x 20 mm fast-acting fuse, but these are listed for the EZ2, so check your model's manual.

Replacing a fuse
Unplug the Herpstat EZ2 and disconnect every cable.
Find the fuse drawer built into the power input connector on the bottom of the unit.
Gently insert a flathead screwdriver into the recess and twist lightly to pop the drawer open.
Replace the blown fuse with a 6.3 A fast-acting 5 x 20 mm fuse. The drawer holds a spare in its second spot.
Close the drawer fully, plug it back in, and check it works.
Find the cause first
A blown fuse usually means an overload, a short, or a power surge. Unplug everything before you replace it, never fit a higher-rated or slow-blow fuse or bypass the holder, and if the new fuse blows too, stop using the unit until the fault is found.

No. The Herpstat 2 takes an 8.0 A fuse.
