A clip-on aluminum reflector for a T5 tube. A bare tube throws much of its light up into the lid; the reflector sends it back down into the enclosure, where your animals and plants can use it.

A fluorescent tube gives off light evenly all the way round. Without a reflector, the light going upwards is wasted in the hood. Arcadia says its reflector doubles the useful output of the lamp, and you can angle it to direct the light where you want it.

Does it come with clips?
Yes. Arcadia includes clips for fitting it to the tube.
Do I need one if my fixture already has a reflector?
No. Arcadia ProT5 kits come with their own reflector. This is for fixtures and hoods that hold a bare tube.
