What it's for
Large naturalistic enclosures need a lot of light to keep plants growing and the display bright. The 80 W bar spreads full-spectrum light along 1240 mm, so a long cage is lit evenly rather than in one pool.
It is visible light only. Species that need UVB still need a UVB fixture; don't use the bar as the only light source for them.

Linking and control
Dawn to dusk, program the light to rise slowly in the morning, hold at your daytime level, and fade at evening, so the cage never jumps from dark to full brightness.
Smooth dimming, set the output you want rather than full power or nothing.
Program in the light, the schedule is stored in the bar itself and repeats each day without a separate timer.
Many lights, one app, the LumenIZE app handles up to 50 compatible lamps per device, each with its own program.
Linking, join it to other LumenIZE Jungle Dawn bars and LumenIZE ProT5 UVB fixtures with a LumenIZE link cable, sold separately.
Setting it up
Mount the bar over the area you want brightest, usually the planted section.
If your species needs UVB, fit a LumenIZE ProT5 UVB fixture as well, and link the two with the right LumenIZE cable.
Set up the program in the LumenIZE app: sunrise, daytime level, and sunset.
Keep misters, rain bars, and foggers from spraying straight onto the fitting.

Questions
Does Jungle Dawn give UVB?
No. It gives visible light and high PAR. If your reptile needs UVB, add a UVB fixture such as a LumenIZE ProT5 UVB kit.
Is it waterproof?
It is rated IP65, which covers normal enclosure humidity, condensation, and dust. Do not aim rain, misting, or fogging equipment straight at it.
Will a power cut lose my schedule?
No. The program is stored in the light, and a replaceable backup battery keeps it running through an outage, so it picks up at the right point when power comes back.
Can you fit it in a new cage?
Yes. Buy it with a new Cornel's World PVC cage and choose the installation option when you order.
