Its mix of blue, green, red, and traces of far-red light, at high intensity, drives strong photosynthesis. That keeps leaves, stems, and roots growing at a healthy rate with good colour, and can bring plants into flower. It suits plants from the upper layers of the forest. The bright light also helps your animals see their surroundings and the colours in them more naturally.

Exo Terra pairs it with a separate UVB bulb (UVB100, UVB150, or UVB200), so add one if your animal needs UVB.
How is it different from the Deep Forest?
Forest Canopy is 6500 K, like the unfiltered sunlight of the tropical forest canopy. The Deep Forest suits plants from the understory.
Can I use it as a room light?
No. It is a pet care bulb for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates only.
