Holds humidity: the bark absorbs moisture and slowly releases it, so the air stays more even between mistings.
Made for digging: the size and shape of the pieces encourage natural digging and burrowing.
Fewer hiding crickets: its pieces discourage crickets from hiding in it.
Clean to start: tumbled to smooth the pieces and remove dust, then heat-treated to reduce bacteria. It also absorbs odour.
