Using it in your enclosure

The outcrop adds usable space above the floor. Because it sits higher, your animal gets closer to its heat and UV lamps, which helps it thermoregulate and take in UV. Reptiles and amphibians also use it as a raised lookout and a safe spot to sleep, which helps them feel secure overnight.
