Who it suits
Bearded dragons, geckos, young monitors, and other reptiles that need a controlled basking zone, especially in medium-sized enclosures. For a larger enclosure, the 150 W spot may suit better.
Setting it up
Fit it in a ceramic fixture rated for at least 100 W.
Position it above the basking area.
Check the surface temperature with a temp gun.
Raise or lower it, or change wattage, if needed.
Run it on a dimming thermostat to keep temperatures steady.
Test everything before your animal goes in.

Does it give UVB?
No. It is a heat lamp only, so add a separate UVB lamp.
Is 100 W enough?
For many setups, yes. Larger enclosures may need the 150 W.
Can I use it with a thermostat?
Yes. We strongly recommend a dimming thermostat for safety.
