Natural compounds in the moss keep it from breaking down in a humid enclosure, so it stays usable long after other moss and substrates have rotted. It is sustainably harvested, and you can rinse and reuse it until the fibres wear out.

Setting it up

  1. Soak the moss briefly in clean water and wring it to the dampness you want.

  2. Add it to a hide, top-dress the soil with it, or tuck it around plant roots.

  3. Mist as needed, and rinse and reuse it until the fibres break down or compact.
