MistKing kits do not come with a reservoir. This bucket gives the pump a covered supply of water, with no plumbing to your home's water line, and the lid keeps dust and debris out while still coming off easily to refill and clean.
Drilling for your bulkhead
Order the bucket together with a misting system and we drill the opening to match that system's bulkhead. You skip the measuring and drilling. Each MistKing kit includes its own reservoir bulkhead: the Starter also comes with a filter, the Ultimate adds a ZipDrip valve, and the Advanced uses a larger ⅜ in connection, which we drill for when you order the two together.
Fitting it
Fit the bulkhead from your misting system into the drilled hole (or drill your own to the bulkhead's size).
Connect the reservoir to the pump as your system's instructions show.
Fill it with water suited to your misting equipment and animals.
Put the lid on.
Check the level regularly and refill before it runs low.
Our advice
Use clean, low-mineral water. Hard water builds up in fine nozzles and spots the glass, plants, and décor. How long a fill lasts depends on how many nozzles you run and for how long.
