At 16 in tall it sits lower than our 18 in and 24 in cages, which keeps heating simple, and it is a step up from a 40 gallon style tank without taking over the room.

Who it suits

  • 12 mm (½ in) expanded PVC, insulated and light.

Choosing your options

  • Sliding glass doors need no swing room, so they suit a cage in a row or close to a wall.

  • Hinged plexiglass doors keep the cage light and open wide for cleaning, décor changes, and handling.

  • Flat packed ships as panels with the hardware, which travel more safely by courier and go together with basic tools.

  • Assembled saves you the build.

Our advice
For higher humidity, seal the interior seams after assembly. Dynaflex 230 is for basic sealing, but it breaks down in standing water. For humid or bioactive builds and water features we use Lexel, which bonds well to our PVC and holds up in standing water. Give it extra time to offgas before your animal goes in.

Is this size right for my animal?

It suits many small to medium reptiles that use floor space more than height. Very active or larger species may need a 4 x 2 x 2 or bigger.

Can you change the vents or add cut-outs?

Yes. We can move vents, add cable, probe, or misting line exits, and plan cut-outs for your lights and heaters. Tell us your plans through a custom build.
