Our sizes fit standard shipping boxes, so we can surround the cage with 1 in of foam. True or custom sizing costs extra and is quoted by hand, since it can need custom packing or freight. Inside space varies slightly with the door style and hardware.

  • ½ in PVC resists moisture, rot, and warping.

  • Few visible screws on the front, except where supports are needed.

  • Split is the strongest choice if you plan to stack, now or later. The 6 x 2 x 2 is common in stacked systems when properly supported.

  • Full length gives a clearer view from the front, with less material in the middle.

  • Assembly of a flat pack is screwing the panels together, and sealing if you need it. On hinged models the door hardware comes pre-installed.

Any assembled cage also goes by freight or local pickup, and we quote the freight by hand.

Our advice
For higher humidity, seal the interior seams after assembly. Dynaflex 230 is for basic sealing, but it breaks down in standing water. For humid or bioactive builds and water features we use Lexel, which bonds well to our PVC and holds up in standing water. Give it extra time to offgas before your animal goes in.

Questions

What if the glass breaks in transit?

Glass door panels ship at your own risk and cannot be insured. Freight lowers the risk but does not remove it. If that worries you, choose hinged plexiglass, ask for plexiglass panels in the sliding front, or ask for a credit and buy the glass locally.

Can you change the vents or add cut-outs?

Yes. We can change the vent placement, add lighting cut-outs, plan heating layouts, and build to true sizes. Tell us your plans through a custom build.

Shipping

Parcels across Canada and the US are priced at checkout from the packed boxes. Pallets and freight we price by hand, usually within one business day, and you pay nothing until you have seen the total. Pickup in Calgary is free.

Returns

14 day returns on eligible unused stock items, return shipping paid by the customer. Built-to-order goods are covered by the construction warranty rather than by returns. Restocking Fees Apply for returns
