About HREF
The Edmonton-area expo at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert is run by the Herptile Rescue and Education Foundation, a rescue group that grew out of the Edmonton Reptile and Amphibian Society. Breeders and vendors bring snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians, and invertebrates, and the show raises money for the group's foster program.
The focus is on responsible ownership: come with questions, and meet the animals before one comes home with you.
