Universal Rocks based Deep Water on trees found underwater. It gives a large enclosure a finished scene without building a background from scratch, and in an aquarium the stump can hide a filter or heater.

Using it in your enclosure
Large aquariums: it was designed for them, with the roots as the centrepiece and the stump covering equipment.
Reptile enclosures: in a big enough enclosure, plants, branches, and substrate arranged around the roots make a full naturalistic display.
Our advice
Measure the inside of your tank or enclosure, not its advertised outside size, and check the front-to-back depth too. The roots stand out much further than the rest of the background.
Measuring and fitting
Measure the inside width, height, and depth of your enclosure.
Test fit the background, and check where the roots sit and what equipment will go behind or around it.
In an aquarium, rinse the background first, then fix it with suitable clips or silicone. Let silicone cure fully, as its maker directs, before adding water or animals.
In a reptile enclosure, use silicone, clips, or screws, whichever safely holds the weight in your enclosure material.
Questions
Is it exactly 48 x 29 in?
No. Universal Rocks makes its backgrounds about ½ in shorter than listed so they fit inside. Measure the inside of your enclosure before ordering.
How far does it stick out?
Up to about 16.5 in at the root system. Most of the background is much shallower.
Can it hide aquarium equipment?
Yes. The large stump can cover equipment and keep the display clean.
