Hydrated, the fragments and gel form a light paste that clings to rough surfaces, joints, and crevices. Each fragment becomes a tiny plant, and over time they knit into a dense green mat in cool, shaded, steadily moist spots where other plants struggle.

Where to use it

Keep it out of harsh afternoon sun.

Setting it up

  1. Empty the bag into a bucket with a few cups of clean water, stir gently, and leave it about 10 minutes to become a paste.

  2. Clear the surface of debris and wet it so it is damp, not soggy.

  3. Spread the paste evenly and press it lightly into joints and crevices.

  4. Water or mist daily so the surface never dries out completely.

  5. Be patient. First growth can show in about 6 weeks, and it keeps thickening over the following months.

Growth is slow
Results vary with light, humidity, and temperature. Steady shade, moisture, and time make the difference.
