Each product does a different job, so the kit covers several parts of a feeding routine instead of one powder doing everything. Feeder insects may not carry the balance of nutrients a reptile needs on their own, so keepers gutload them first and dust them before feeding. This kit has what you need for both. New keepers can learn how the EarthPro products work together; experienced keepers get trial sizes of several at once.

About the best-before date
Arcadia makes its EarthPro products in the United Kingdom, so the packaging shows the UK best-before date. Canadian distributors tell us Arcadia advises an extra 12 months of shelf life for its foods and supplements sold in Canada and the United States, but the printed date stays as it is. If you have questions about the date on our current stock, contact us before ordering.

Who it's for

Keepers of reptiles that eat live insects such as crickets, roaches, and locusts, and anyone starting on the EarthPro range. Supplement needs vary by species, age, diet, and UVB setup, so match the routine to your animal.

How to use it

Follow the included feeding guide and the directions on each package. Feed InsectFuel Gold to your live insects before offering them, then dust with EarthPro-A or CalciumPro-Mg as the guide sets out, and keep ShedSupport for when your reptile sheds.

Supplements are one part of care
Many reptiles also need suitable UVB lighting, the right temperatures, the right food, and water. Good sheds depend on humidity, hydration, and temperature as well as diet.

  • EarthPro-A: calcium carbonate, mineral clay, vegetable protein powder, carrot powder, algal carotenoid, vitamin B premix, and bee pollen.

  • CalciumPro-Mg: 90% calcium carbonate and 10% magnesium carbonate.

  • ShedSupport: calcium carbonate, mineral powder, spinach powder, papaya, spirulina, vitamin B premix, and bee pollen.

  • InsectFuel: alfalfa meal, calcium carbonate, carrot powder, vegetable protein, spinach powder, mineral clay, dextrose, carotenoids, papaya powder, and bee pollen.

Questions

Does anything in the kit have vitamin D3?

EarthPro-A and CalciumPro-Mg have no added D3. For reptiles that need a D3 powder, Arcadia makes RevitaliseD3.

Is it enough on its own?

No. It covers supplements and insect gutloading. Your reptile still needs the right diet, heat, UVB, and water for its species.
