The build
Exo Terra says these new Vista Panoramic Terrariums take about 5 minutes to assemble. Naturally, I managed to make it take 10.
To be fair, the extra time had less to do with the terrarium and more to do with me. I was inspecting every piece, checking the fit and finish, and talking way too much through the whole process.
So if you are not narrating your life story while building yours, there is a very good chance you will beat my time.
So, was it actually easy?
Honestly, yes. It is one of the easiest glass terrariums I have put together.
Everything lines up well, the parts make sense, and there was never a point where I was staring at the instructions wondering if I had somehow skipped three steps and entered a different dimension.
That is a big win. A lot of terrariums look nice once they are built, but getting there can be another story. With the Vista, the build felt straightforward right from the start.
They actually ship well
Glass terrariums and courier shipping do not always have the best relationship. Usually that combination makes people nervous, for good reason.
The Vista terrariums are packed properly, protected where it matters, and designed in a way that makes them much more realistic to ship safely.
So yes, the build was easy. The packaging is smart. And my "10-minute setup" was definitely more about me talking too much than about the terrarium being difficult.
Thinking about getting one?
If you are looking for a terrarium that is easy to assemble, looks sharp, and has a much better chance of surviving courier shipping, the Exo Terra Vista Panoramic Terrarium is a really solid option.

Final thoughts
The Vista is a nice mix of looks, practicality, and easier shipping. That matters, especially with glass enclosures. It is one thing to have a terrarium that looks good in photos. It is another thing entirely to have one that arrives safely and goes together without a headache.
And yes, I am fully aware Exo Terra says 5 minutes. Mine took 10. But that was mostly because I was inspecting every piece and talking way too much, not because the build was difficult. I am calling that a win.
