From basement builds to national recognition
Cornel's World started in 2000 in a basement workshop, building terrariums one at a time. What began as a passion project grew into a full-time business, providing custom caging for hobbyists, zoos, science centres, and institutions across North America.
Our work has been featured at the Calgary Zoo, Telus World of Science, and the Edmonton Valley Zoo. We even spent a season on television with our 10-episode series Scaled on Animal Planet, bringing dream reptile builds to life on screen.
We also appeared on Dragons' Den (season 9), where we landed a deal with Michael Wekerle, and ultimately chose to walk away so we could stay true to our vision and our customers.
