Like many keepers of large arboreal species, she wanted to do things properly from the start, with enough space, correct lighting, and a natural look that would support long-term health.

The initial inquiry
Lyne contacted us looking for a 3' x 3' x 6' enclosure that would fit her available space while still meeting the needs of a growing iguana. She also wanted guidance on design, décor, and lighting, especially given the extra sensitivity albino reptiles can have to UV exposure.
Good afternoon, I have an albino iguana, and I'm looking for a custom enclosure. A 3 x 3 x 6 enclosure would be the best due to space. Would you have design recommendations and if possible a quote? If you prefer to have a quick call, please let me know!
Designing the right setup
Over several emails, we worked through layout options together. Lyne preferred a natural, non-bioactive look using cork backgrounds and branches rather than shelves. We discussed airflow, sealing, vent placement, substrate choices, and climbing features that would let her iguana choose different heights for basking, resting, and sleeping.
Because the enclosure was shipping flat packed for easier delivery and access through doorways, we also planned ahead for assembly, sealing, and installing the cork panels once everything was in place.
Lighting and environmental control
Lighting was a major focus of this build. We outfitted the enclosure with Arcadia LumenIZE UV lighting for precise, programmable UV control, along with Arcadia basking fixtures and bulbs to create proper heat gradients. The setup can be adjusted over time as the iguana grows and its needs change.
Built with the future in mind
Iguanas grow quickly, and replacing an enclosure every few years isn't practical. One of the biggest advantages of PVC caging is modular expansion. When the time comes, Lyne can order another enclosure of the same size with open side walls and join the two together to double the space, without replacing the original. Read more in how PVC cages grow with your reptile.
Customer feedback
After receiving and setting up the enclosure, Lyne left a 5-star Google review, sharing how happy she was with the final result.
I am extremely satisfied with my enclosure. The quality of the product is outstanding, and the backgrounds are...
As your iggy grows you will want to give it more room. You can always order another the same size with open walls and join them together to double the size. PVC caging being modular is a great option to grow the cage without having to replace the existing.
Another successful custom build
This project is a great example of what custom enclosures are all about: clear communication, thoughtful design, and a finished build that looks great while supporting the animal's long-term needs. Lyne now has a setup she can enjoy today, with the flexibility to grow tomorrow.
