Pangea makes PIG to raise and breed feeder insects, and says it has kept several generations of roaches, and domestic and banded crickets, on it. A well-fed feeder is a better meal, so it also works as a gut load before feeding off.

What it feeds
Pangea lists dubia roaches and other roach species, and domestic and banded crickets. It is a food for the insects, not for your reptile.
Preparing it
As a gel
Boil 3 parts water.
Stir in 1 part powder for about 20 seconds. Some clumping is normal.
Pour it onto a tray or plate and let it cool to room temperature.
Cut it into pieces and offer them to your insects.
As a paste
Add water to the powder slowly until it is as thick as you want, then spoon it onto a dish or roll it into balls.
Dry
Put the powder in a dish and give the insects a separate water source, such as hydrated water crystals.
What's in it
A grain base of wheat germ, rice bran, oat flour, and alfalfa meal, with dried fruit including banana, seaweed and kelp, whey protein, yeast, and spirulina, plus added vitamins and minerals.

Is this a gecko diet?
No. Insect Grub feeds your feeder insects. Pangea makes separate gecko diets.
Do the insects need water with it?
Fed as a gel or paste it carries its own moisture. Fed dry, give them a water source such as hydrated water crystals.
What do the sizes equal in pounds?
8 oz is half a pound, 16 oz is 1 lb, and 64 oz is 4 lb.
