Exo Terra Snake Bedding is made in Belgium from natural poplar wood, heat-treated to cut down on bacteria and to absorb more. It is free of toxic oils and resins, soft enough for hatchlings and sensitive species, and biodegradable. Fast drying and high absorbency keep it low maintenance and help with odour.

What it suits

Snakes from hatchlings to adults, in terrariums or breeding tubs. The texture lets them burrow and hide. Check the humidity and ventilation your species needs.

Setting it up

  1. Make sure the terrarium or tub is disinfected and dry.

  2. Spread an even layer at least 1 in (2.5 cm) deep.

At feeding time
Exo Terra recommends moving your snake off the bedding to feed it.

Care and cleaning

Spot clean soiled areas every day and replace all the bedding about every 8 weeks, or sooner when it needs it.

Returns
