Exo Terra Forest Moss – 2 x 7 qt (2 x 7 L)

Exo Terra Forest Moss is completely natural moss grown in tropical Asia and compressed into bricks, with no dyes or chemicals. Once wet it soaks up a lot of water and gives it back slowly, which raises and steadies humidity in a terrarium or a hide.

Where to use it

• Humid hides, such as a moist cave for a snake or gecko

• Egg-laying and incubation boxes

• Tropical terrariums for frogs, salamanders, and burrowing species

• A top dressing over soil and around plant roots in planted builds

Setting it up

1. Soak a portion in clean water, then wring it to the dampness you want.

2. Put it in a hide, on top of the soil, around plant roots, or in a laying box.

3. Mist to keep the humidity up, and rinse, refresh, or replace it as the fibres compact.
