Calcium deficiency is one of the main diet problems in captive reptiles. This powder gives a high level of calcium with small amounts of magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, and copper. It is a complementary food, used alongside a normal diet.

How to use it

  • Vegetables and fruit: blend ½ tablespoon of Calcium with ½ tablespoon of Exo Terra Multi Vitamin per 500 g of mixed vegetables and fruit.

  • Insects: mix Calcium and Multi Vitamin 1:1 in a container, add the live insects, cover, and shake gently until they are coated. Exo Terra says no other supplement is needed.

Always provide clean, fresh drinking water. After opening, store the container somewhere cool and dry. The best-before date and batch code are on the base of the container. Exo Terra suggests coating insects in its Cricket Feeder or Termite Hill, which saves powder for reuse and keeps the terrarium cleaner.
