Monstera leaves are big and split, so a single plant covers a lot of a cage wall or fills a corner. Use it for instant cover and depth where a live plant would struggle or get trampled.

Pick by the height of your enclosure and how much of the floor you want covered. Leave room around it for cleaning and for reaching in.

Using it in your enclosure

Rinse it before use, especially for an aquarium.
Place it where it adds cover without blocking vents, the basking and UVB zone, or a filter intake.
In a terrarium, secure it so a heavier animal cannot knock it over.
When you clean the cage, take it out, rinse or wipe it, and put it back.
