Redline Science 12″ Heat Tape

Introducing our new THGHeat heat tape!  This new heat tape is the result of 3 years research and development- specifically with the reptile hobby in mind.  Made by one of the leading manufacturers of heat tape in the world this is an exciting new development for our hobby.

This heat tape is ideal for use under large reptile caging or rack systems, home brewing applications and seedling mats. It can be cut to the length required and is SOLD BY THE FOOT. Our continuous element style of 12″ heat tape is superior to the “panel” version as it offers more even heat distrobution and can be cut to almost any length.

The Quantity entered is the number of feet desired.   Does NOT include wire/clip/insulator set which must be ordered separately if needed. 23 watts per foot.

This heat tape MUST be used with a thermostat. We use and recommend the Hepstat line of thermostats or the new Hobbystat Thermostat

We can also assemble your order to your specifications. If you would like us to connect you Wire/Clipset for you please also select the heat tape connection option on the wire set and leave us instructions in the comments box when checking out.

Element width is +/- .125″ Lengths of more than 25′ are not recommended.  Due to how this element is manufactured the length can vary by +/- 1/4″ PER FOOT.  Generally, it is less than that but ORDER EXTRA.

This heat tape MUST be used with a thermostat. We recommend a Proportional Thermostat
