MistKing Misting Nozzle Assemblies
Build the MistKing misting nozzle assembly that fits your enclosure and misting system. Choose between a Single, Double or Quad Nozzle Assembly, then select either a Tee Fitting or End-of-Line Elbow Fitting.
This flexible setup lets you choose both the amount of misting coverage and the correct connection for the nozzle’s position in your tubing run. As a result, the same product can be configured for everything from a single reptile enclosure to larger multi-nozzle installations.
Two Choices – One Complete Nozzle Assembly
First, choose how many misting heads you need: Single, Double or Quad. Then choose how the assembly connects to your 1/4″ misting line: use a Tee when the tubing continues to another nozzle, or an End-of-Line Elbow when the assembly finishes the tubing run.
Build Your MistKing Nozzle Assembly
STEP 1
Choose Your Nozzle Type
Single – 1 misting head
Double – 2 misting heads
Quad – 4 misting heads
STEP 2
Choose Your Fitting
Tee Fitting – tubing continues past the nozzle
End-of-Line Elbow – nozzle finishes the tubing run
Not Sure Which Fitting You Need? If another nozzle comes after this one, choose the Tee Fitting. If this is the final nozzle on the line, choose the End-of-Line Elbow.
Choose Your MistKing Nozzle Type
The number of misting heads determines how much area you can cover from one assembly. Choose the configuration that best matches the size and layout of your enclosure.
Single MistKing Misting Nozzle
The Single Nozzle Assembly provides one adjustable misting head from one mounting location. It is a simple choice when you need focused misting in a smaller enclosure or want to position individual nozzles throughout a larger system.
- 1 misting head
- Focused misting coverage
- Ideal when one spray point provides sufficient coverage
- Can be used as one of several independently positioned nozzles
Double MistKing Misting Nozzle
The Double Nozzle Assembly provides two misting heads from one mounting location. Each head can be aimed to distribute mist across a wider area or in different directions.
- 2 misting heads
- Greater coverage from one mounting location
- Useful for medium and larger enclosures
- Allows mist to be directed toward two areas
Quad MistKing Misting Nozzle
The Quad Nozzle Assembly provides four misting heads from one mounting location. This configuration offers broad, multi-directional coverage where a single or double nozzle may not provide enough distribution.
- 4 misting heads
- Broad coverage from one assembly
- Multiple adjustable spray directions
- Useful for larger enclosures and planted displays
Choose Your MistKing Fitting Type
After selecting your nozzle configuration, choose how the assembly connects to your misting line. The correct fitting depends on whether the tubing needs to continue to another nozzle.
CONTINUE THE LINE
Tee Fitting
Choose the Tee Fitting when the nozzle sits somewhere along the misting line and tubing needs to continue onward to another nozzle or section of the system.
- Tubing enters one side
- Tubing continues from the other side
- Nozzle branches from the fitting
- Ideal for multi-nozzle systems
END THE LINE
End-of-Line Elbow Fitting
Choose the End-of-Line Elbow when the nozzle assembly will be the final nozzle at the end of your tubing run.
- Tubing connects from one direction
- Finishes the misting line
- No additional tubing exits the fitting
- Ideal for the last nozzle in the system
Which MistKing Nozzle Assembly Do I Need?
Quick Selection Guide
| Configuration | Misting Heads | Best For |
|---|
| Single | 1 | Focused coverage and smaller setups |
| Double | 2 | Wider or two-direction coverage |
| Quad | 4 | Broad multi-directional coverage |
Then Choose the Connection
Another nozzle comes after this one?
Choose Tee Fitting.
This is the last nozzle?
Choose End-of-Line Elbow.
Example: Setting Up Multiple MistKing Nozzles
Suppose you want to install three nozzle assemblies on one continuous tubing run. The first two assemblies need the line to continue to the next nozzle, while the third assembly finishes the line.

The nozzle size at each position can still be Single, Double or Quad. The fitting choice only determines whether the tubing continues after that assembly.

Planning Your MistKing System
Before ordering, sketch the path your 1/4″ tubing will take from the pump through each enclosure. This makes it much easier to determine how many Tee and End-of-Line fittings you need.
Every nozzle assembly positioned before the end of a continuous line generally requires a Tee connection. The final nozzle on that line uses the End-of-Line Elbow.
Then choose Single, Double or Quad nozzle assemblies based on the amount and direction of misting coverage required at each mounting location.
Remember: The number of misting heads matters when calculating the total nozzle capacity of your MistKing pump. A Double Assembly uses two misting heads, while a Quad Assembly uses four.
MistKing Misting Nozzle FAQ
Choosing a Nozzle
What is the difference between Single, Double and Quad MistKing nozzles?
The difference is the number of misting heads on the assembly. Single has one, Double has two and Quad has four. Additional heads provide more misting directions and potentially broader coverage from one mounting location.
Which MistKing nozzle is best for a small enclosure?
A Single Nozzle is often enough when you only need one misting direction. However, enclosure dimensions, ventilation, planting and the animal’s requirements should determine the final setup.
Why would I use a Double Nozzle?
A Double Nozzle provides two misting heads from one mounting location. You can aim them in different directions to increase coverage without creating another mounting point.
When would I use a Quad Nozzle?
A Quad Assembly provides four misting heads from one mounting location and is useful when you need broad or multi-directional coverage.
Choosing a Fitting
What’s the difference between a Tee and End-of-Line fitting?
A Tee Fitting allows the tubing to continue beyond the nozzle to another part of the system. An End-of-Line Elbow finishes the tubing run at that nozzle.
Which fitting do I need if I’m only installing one nozzle?
If your single nozzle is also the end of the tubing run, choose the End-of-Line Elbow.
Which fitting do I need for multiple enclosures?
Use Tee Fittings on nozzle assemblies where the tubing must continue to another enclosure. Finish the final nozzle on the line with an End-of-Line Elbow.
System Planning
Does a Double Nozzle count as one or two nozzles for pump capacity?
A Double Assembly has two misting heads, so count both heads when planning the total nozzle load on your MistKing pump.
Does a Quad Nozzle count as four nozzles?
Yes. A Quad Assembly contains four misting heads, so all four should be included when calculating the total number of nozzles on the system.
Can I mix Single, Double and Quad nozzles in one MistKing system?
Yes. Different nozzle configurations can be used throughout a system. Choose the assembly that provides the coverage required at each location while staying within the total capacity of your pump.
