Setup Tips
Assemble the enclosure on a flat surface and tighten hardware evenly. Then, confirm the doors glide smoothly.
If you plan to run higher humidity, use a moisture-holding substrate and cover part of the screen top as needed.
Heating & Lighting Recommendations
For most species, pair your heat source with a quality thermostat to keep temperatures stable.
Radiant heat panels or heat tape work well for steady ambient warmth. However, basking species still need a basking bulb
(such as halogen) to create a proper hot spot and encourage natural basking behavior.
- Best practice: Always control heaters with a thermostat
- Ventilation: Use the full screen top for airflow, or cover part to retain humidity
- Gradient: Create a warm side and cool side with hides on both ends

This model uses tempered glass sliding doors.
Can I run bioactive substrate in this enclosure?
Yes. The 4″ litter dam supports deeper substrate layers.
For heavier builds, the heavy-duty floor helps support added substrate weight.
If you want a taller litter dam we do offer a bioactive version
Do I still need a basking bulb?
If you keep a basking species, yes. Use a basking bulb to create a hot spot.
You can still use a panel or other heater for steady ambient warmth.
Should I use a thermostat?
Yes. A thermostat helps maintain safe temperatures and protects your animal and equipment.
