The 2×2×4 PVC reptile enclosure is a tall, arboreal-style cage designed for climbing species that use vertical space. It gives you a compact 2×2 footprint with plenty of height for branches, vines, ledges, and bioactive builds, while still being easy to place on a stand or rack.
The actual outside size of this PVC cage is approximately 24″ Wide × 24″ Deep × 48″ Tall. That footprint keeps the enclosure easy to fit through doorways and into most rooms, while the extra height allows you to build naturalistic climbing environments for arboreal reptiles.
PVC caging helps maintain stable heat and humidity, especially in taller enclosures where warm air rises. This 2×2×4 PVC reptile cage is ideal for species that prefer to perch up high and make use of vertical space, while still letting you keep lighting and heating equipment safely above the animals.
We build this 2×2×4 PVC reptile enclosure from 12 mm (approx. 1/2″) expanded PVC for strength, insulation, and easy cleaning. You can choose the front style that best suits your room layout and how you like to work in the enclosure.

Ventilation and cable exits are placed to support typical arboreal heating and lighting setups. On custom builds we can adjust vent layouts, add extra probe or misting line exits, or plan cutouts for specific fixtures.
To help reduce damage in transit and keep courier pricing reasonable, we usually ship this 2×2×4 PVC cage in a flat-pack configuration. Panels and hardware ship in a protected carton and are assembled on site. If a panel is ever damaged, it is much easier to replace one piece than a fully assembled enclosure.
For higher-humidity arboreal builds, we recommend sealing interior seams after assembly. Products such as Dynaflex 230 often bond better to PVC than standard silicone and help keep water where it belongs.
